बौद्धिक सम्पदा अधिकार (जीआई) में आगरा के लेदर फुटवियर को शामिल किये जाने पर एफ ए एफ एम – फ्रेटर्निटी ऑफ आगरा फुटवियर मैन्यूफैक्चर्स द्वारा एफमेक अध्यक्ष पूरन डावर (Puran Dawar) और उनकी टीम को उनके अथक प्रयासों के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। इस मौके पर एफमेक अध्यक्ष पूरन डावर को जूता इंडस्ट्री का लीडर बताते हुए एफएएफएम कुलदीप सिंह कोहली ने कहा कि आगरा की 500 साल पुरानी इस विरासत को बौद्धिक सम्पदा अधिकार के अंतर्गत जीआई टैग मिलना ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि है इससे आगरा के जूते को दुनियां में विशिष्ट पहचान मिलेगी। श्री पूरन डावर की दूरदृष्टि सोच ने हमें आगरा में बने जूते पर गर्व करने का अवसर दिया है। वहीं सम्मान के लिए टीम एफएएफएम का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए पूरन डावर (Puran Dawar) ने कहा कि हमारा सपना है कि आगरा जूता निर्माण में विश्व की ग्लोबल फैक्ट्री बने इसके लिए हमें सामूहिक प्रयास करने होंगें। सम्मान के मौके एफएएफएम अध्यक्ष कुलदीप कोहली के साथ संस्था सचिव संचित मुंजाल, संयुक्त सचिव नकुल मनचंदा, कोषाध्यक्ष रोमी मगन आदि विशेष रूप से शामिल रहे।
